New characters! Yay! If you look closely, you can see that this is the first time I’ve given a female character (the one on the left) visible eyelashes. Also, the two Riolu’s eyes (their species is called Riolu) are slightly different colors, so you can also tell them apart by that.

This page took me so long to color, with three more characters than usual with obnoxious patterning. At least they’re adorable! I’m so glad I didn’t make them Pidgeys, like I was going to.

Three quarters of the way to 100! Time sure flies when you’re having fun.

This page started a really great conversation with a friend of mine who wondered what life would be like if there were real-life sound effects, like if your cup went “SLURP SLURP” when you drank it. Or if things said “YANK” when you tugged on them, like in panel 2.

I wonder whether Chivai will ever use an attack to actually directly attack anyone, or if she’ll always just use moves to trip them or save kids stuck in trees. Only time will tell.
